Steve,

Welcome to a great form and a great bunch of folks!

We're all happy that you seem to have found a Cub that has been well cared for, and also looking forward to the pictures.

You've found the best place on the 'net for great information and help with your new Cub. But you've already discovered the magic these little machines bring...friendship. I'm betting your neighbor will enjoy seeing you enjoy the Cub as much as he did too!

Have a great time with it, and enjoy!

Charles aka Corky
I found this old Cub, Forgotten and Forlorn,
With pistons and valves frozen and worn.
Help from my buddies on Farmallcub.com,
And an engine from Ralph, (37’s the one),
Now ole Corky is running and back to life,
Much to the surprise of my dear, dear wife!

I am sure the cub and Mercury will get along just fine. My '48 cub and '93 Mercury sat next to each other in the garage for about 4 years and they got along great. I still have the cub and wish I still had the Cougar.

Welcome to the forum.

Steve:

Welcome to the Cub Community and congrats on acquiring your very first Cub :applause: :D You may not be able to stop at one as many of us cannot and haven't. Even though it may just be a collectible, these tractors are addictive - highly addictive. :D and you may end up with a herd before you know it

Here are some links to some more neat info

Image to Farmallcub.com :big smile: Forum Family. And you have come to the right place for all things Cub related. Welcome to the forum, Steve. I always take a look at zip codes for new members and I know yours very well. I worked for Leco for many years and still know several people that live in the area. Enjoy your tractor
