Well guys I guess I should tell a little about myself (only 4 months late).

I live in Santa Fe, TN. It's about an hour south of Nashville, TN in Maury County. I have lived here for 13 years and love it. I used to live in Genesee county in Michigan. Grew up there and moved to Tennesse in October of 1994. The home I live in I bought 12 years ago. It's a 3 bedroom ranch with one bathroom. I put a 2 car garage on it in March of 2005. Garage is 25x28 with 10 ft ceilings and 8 foot front doors.

When I lived in Michigan I was an auto mechanic for about 20 years. Now I'm an "at home" practicing cub mechanic. I work as an insurance adjuster now. I go out and do damage appraisals on residential property.

In the summer of 2000 I got divorced from Warwoman #2 (as stainsbo would put it). I got remarried again in June of 2005 and this one is the best. She puts up with all my stuff (bodily noises). She even has here own cub (Buttercub) which I am currently freshening up for her. I couldn't ask for a better person to be around. Her name is Sandra. Some of you met her at Bigdog's Cubtug 2007 this year.

Well I guess that's all there is, so I won't bore ya any more.

When I saw Santa Fe, my heart beat faster for a minute, thinking you were just a easy day's drive away...then I saw TN after it. Oh well! Always nice to have someone around who can understand you [b]and[/i] your strange habits, right? Cubbin's a lot better than some habits!

Jim, nice to "formally" meet you after talking back and forth this long. You are lucky to have Sandra, sounds to me like. I can only imagine what bodily noises she puts up with. I always enjoy chatting with you. 8) Pete

Gilles,

I think the horse is happy just like he is. He loves running in the pasture all day long.

Pete,

I'll see ya at Stonethrow.

He's down on the very other side of the state - still just a day's drive though. Heading down that way, actually, for Labor Day, so I might try and get in touch with him.

Jim, nice to know a little more about. It was great meeting you at BD's this year. By all means, keep the horse a-running.

Jim, I look forward to meeting you in the future at a Cubfest. My wife and I have a new work schedule where her and I have every other Friday off. That makes it nice that we have a three day weekend to travel to some of the get togethers.

Unfortunately for me she has the same Friday off as I do so I have to bring her along. Oh well, at least she can cook so it won't be to bad. That plus she doesn't mind chasing after the beer and pretzels. I'm just kidding about bringing her, of course. she is getting to understand my tractor fetish.

Jim:

Nice intro, and glad that you have joy in your life. We all need that. in large doses... thankfully, I made my mistakes early in life, and have been lucky to be married to Em going on 26 years now... I wish you all the best with Sandra and many years of bliss.

Course with ButterCub being hers and a mate for yours, it does bode well now doesn't it :!:  8) :D :!:

As fer the horse.. not going there... I love animals way too much.. that is just tooooooo weird for me :!:    :?

Nice intro Jim. Only 11 pots away from the big 501. You almost a certified BS'er as Mike would say.
