Hey Mike welcome aboard, looks like you got a good project tractor to get started on. Did you tell the wife that you will be getting another soon? :roll: :wink: :lol: :D If you arent doing anything April 13,14 you oughta come on down here into Illinois and attend DocFest. A gathering of cub folks, showing off their tractors and working on them. Nice little vacation and a chance to get to know some of the people on the board. John

Hi John! Thanks for the welcome and the invite! I will mark my calendar and will honestly try to get down there. I assume the "details" are on on the Events link on the home page.

Before I retired all of my retired friends said that I would be even busier after I retired. I didn't think that would ever be possible but I'm finding it to be true!

Thanks for the invite "Clem", err...Dan! :lol:

Sorry I haven't been around for a while, we have just been so busy getting the farm back into shape - fixing fence, putting up a new cattle loafing shed, cleaning up the old barn and fixing equipment and we just took delivery of 3 calves (to start with) to get back into raising our own beef. Plus we finished up the addition to the house - there goes the "Cub/Lo-boy Fund"! :roll:

I did find some time to work on the 154 though. I found sheet metal off of the internet and managed to get fenders, the center housing, transmission tunnel and left side panel to replace the ones that had been "butchered up".

I also found the guide wheel mounting arms and yokes for the mower guide wheels and made my own guide wheels from 2 8" pneumatic tires and wheels that I found at TSC along with brass bushings and bolts to mount them to the yokes. It's not factory, but it works!

Here are a couple of pictures of the 154 as it is now and with "Momma" behind the controls mowing one of our paddocks.
