At the get to gether at George Wilers last Sat I was introduced to an Amanda. I asked Tractor Chick. Got the reply from her husband "I knew this was going to happen" I was glad to meet her but sad it wasn't you.

thanx beacon light! Yeah... unfortunately my tractor show days don't start time it's time for me to wear shorts.... :)

And hello to the rest of you!!!!

*Here's my update on me.....
I'm 19 now.... yep going on almost 2 weeks of being 19. Nothing too big has happened really. 19 isn't as fun of an age as i thought it would be, but oh well. I'm enjoying my 2nd semester as the local junior college. This semester i have the extremely boring classes. Precalculus, english comp 1, US and missouri government, and physics.
With all of that school i've moved up to having 25+ hours at work. Plus I'm working back at my ex-boyfriends parents tractor repair business. I do all of their accounting and paperwork and inventory and sometimes i get to go in back and rebuild a carb or a blower or chainsaw. So i only have sundays off again.
Well i guess that's all of the updates that i have for today
See ya guys later!

Welcome aboard, Tractor Damsel!

Hi Dee Ho, Amanda!!! :D That's an old fashioned way of sayin' "Welcome! Glad to have you on the forum."

Lookin' over the roster of your enthusiastic welcome wishers - Good grief! They're all YOUNG and GOOD LOOKIN' guys too! - I just don't want you to think (even though I'm a granddad, a little bit slower than I used to be and that I'm followin' these attentive bright-eyed bucks) that my enthusiasm is any less than theirs. The truth is, Amanda, we're all amazed and delighted by your interest, your knowledge, your experience and your poise. You are, indeed, one extraordinarily versitile TractorChick.

P.S. I see by your updated resume that you're takin' some "extremely boring classes". English Comp. I for one. If I help you on any literature, composition or grammar issues (I was an English teacher) will you assist me with answers to my questions regarding my 1959 Cub restoration? :D :D

another update on me:

I forgot about one of my classes, macroeconomics. It's a boring class that i easily forgot about for a reason i guess. The only way that i keep awake in there is to fill in the bubble letters. Pretty sad huh?

You got any pictures of that one? There's a '47 I've been eying for a while, but I don't think my wife'd like it much. She's unhappy because the Merc is a slow starter in the cold.

:P I had a 41-Chevy Coupe that had a 36? CI Buick V8 in it. It was probably the fastest car I have owned besides My Avanti`s. That old Chevy Coupe was a sleeper that got a lot of Corvette owners very upset in its day.
Then came Bronson
