Hi all.
I found this forum a couple months ago when I came into possession of an old rusty tractor with Farmall Cub stickers on the hood. I had never heard of Farmall or Cub but I agreed to help my friend get her grandfather's tractor running again. We brought it home from Ga to Fl and I started playing. I am now smitten. With the help of this forum I learned that she's a 1949 Cub with a working touch control. I did a basic service including plugs, points, condenser, wires, fluids, fuel system cleaning, and now the old girl runs great. I have no need for the cultivator I removed before I could drag her out of the shed, in fact I have no need for a tractor in my suburban home, but now that she's running I'm working on a couple friends with larger properties where she can reclaim her purpose and I can still have access to play with her.

At some point I may be able to offer some help to someone else on this forum, I would love to pay forward all the tips and tricks I learned from all of you.

Thank You

That is how it works. I vowed I would never touch another snow shovel after a big storm and I started with a cub 7 years ago I knew nothing about. No mechanical experience, knew nothing about Farmalls or any tractor. Had a lot of help and explanations from these guys and gals. Now I have 7 tractors and done a lot of learning. Have fun.

BTW, I live in town too but have hidden areas of the property.
