Hello from NE
Hello everyone and thanks for the add. I'm a new cub owner from northeast Nebraska but long time cub cadet owner. I just picked up my first Cubs yesterday after a 12 round trip through 4 states. My plan is to get them both in top running condition and eventually restore them to use around the farm for jobs like mowing and pushing snow. The deal for the Cubs included a very nice moldboard plow that I'm excited to mount and use, and decent blade, and a sickle bar that's in rough but hopefully restorable condition. My father still farms and has quite a few IH tractors that we still use in daily operations but they are still technically his and it feels good to have my own machines. Since I grew up around IH equipment my whole life, I've been bit by the collecting bug. I have several IH pickups (54' R100, 53' R110, 56 S100, 57 S110) and several cub cadets (100, 127, 149). Again, thanks for adding me, I'm excited to see what this forum is all about.

I loved this tractor then and I still love it now. - Circle of Safety: Y

You are only about an hour and a half from Frank in Grand Island. I'm sure he will be along to welcome you.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Best of luck with your new projects,
I grew up less than a mile from Rae Valley Days so I make it there every year. I'm looking forward to having my own "bigger" tractors. For years I've helped my dad with his New Idea pickers and Minneapolis Moline sheller that are there every year. Let me know if you come up next year so we can say hi in person.
