And so it begins,
I lucked up on a non running 184 (3 point)this summer and figured I’d give it a shot as a spare mower/utility. No history other than it didn’t run. It took a few minutes to get the plug wires in the right order, clean the carb, file and set the points. She’s a runner!
I didn’t get a mower with the tractor, but it had an IH mower under it at one time. The only things left of it were the adjustable sheaves on the rear, bump stops and the pto pulley (gotta get me a donor).
I found a non running 185 donor with a Woods mower.
The only thing missing is 1 adjustable sheave and a good belt. I would have liked it to be a 184, but it’ll do for now.
I’m new to the Cub thing, so please feel free to set me straight when I stray.
Go Cubs!

Welcome to the group.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

I could not say tractor when I was 2 years old so I called it Err Err.
I loved this tractor then and I still love it now. - Circle of Safety: Y
