Hello All,
New member to the group, but not new to Farmalls or International Harvester. Grew up on Family farm south of Lake Geneva in the 80's to mid 90's and early adulthood working for CO-OPs and repair shops over thereafter. We had quite a lineup of tractors: Super M, 560 gas, 400, two H's, 1468, 186 Hydro, 1066, 986, B and a 1086. All that remains nowadays is the B, 1 H, 986, 1086 and 400. The 986 needs a bit of love (needs pressure plate, I'm thinking). 1086 is the workhorse of the farm and the 400 suffers a case of missing radiator syndrome (someone removed the radiator to fix it I guess, but when I ask anyone about its whereabouts, I get dumb looks, so short story, it needs a radiator. Runs great otherwise). The B is the newest addition to the lineup. According to the story I was told, it was used to farm ginseng in northern WI. Has a wide front and one heck of a hydraulic system and an post hole auger on it. It was purchased with a stuck engine (not bad), but a bit of drain oil and some perseverance and I had it free. Then had to overhaul the mag and new plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Runs like a dream now. Need to find a drawbar since it is currently lacking it. I also have a couple of Simplicity tractors to maintain the garden and turf areas, a 7112 and an 18hp Sunstar.
Well, that's it for now.
Dan K.

Thanks Dusty. Back when I was on the FD here I would take a truck up there for the parade at the end of Burn Camp. Good times and memories.
