Hi, I've been around cubs all my life on a small farm in NJ. I've still got the one, with a quick hitch, my dad purchased in the early 50's. It needs a lot of work now but hopefully with a new shop i'll get there.
We also just picked up a '48 Super A recently with a sickle bar for working around a young sugar maple plantation.
I mush admit that much of the work on the farm is now done with much younger green machines.
Hope to be able to reach out here as i repair and service our old 100 manure spreader and the tractors themselves.
Hugs,
Charlize

Welcome to the forum! I grew up near Elmer, NJ and went to Vineland High School. While riding the school bus in elementary school, I loved to watch the farmers out cultivating with Cubs. I always thought they were the coolest looking little tractor.
Fast forward (too fast), I have two to play with now and rely on the great support of the folks on this forum.

I'm trying to find a T bar chain for a McCormick IH 100 manure spreader. I'm hoping someone else here might know of a source.
Thanks for the welcome. Who knew there was a forum for older IH machinery. They were so well made but, being a bit of an antique myself, i know the need for occasional help or spare parts to keep working.

Welcome to the Forum!
Take some time and read through a few threads to acquaint yourself with the Forum:
Don't know if you have all the manuals to your Cub, but since you have 2 posts on the Forum, you'll have access to the all the PDF Manuals on this site. From a desktop or laptop, they’re located via "Quick Links" in the upper left corner of your screen. Hit that and a pull-down appears where you'll find "PDF Manuals". If you're using a phone via internet connection, then they are located in "Links Directory" (second category down the main page). Hit "Links Directory" and scroll down to the second section "Tractor Parts & Manuals" and you'll find them there. You'll be able to download an Owner's Manual (very strongly recommended) and any service manuals that interest you. Parts Manuals are also there. Implement Manuals are also available.
We’d encourage you to take the Safety Test located in the Safety Forum: http://farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=68084
There are a lot of good threads dealing with Cub repair and maintenance in the How To Forum. Located here: http://farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=11
Take some pictures of your tractors and post them, we’d like to see them.

Thank you all for the welcome. As i spend more time working on the IH's we have i'll be here more often. It's a bit hard to navigate around the site so please let me know if i'm posting incorrectly. I already found my 56 is an April 55 from the chart. That actually makes sense but while i remember it new that was a bit ago.
