I was cruising FB marketplace for some implements and one of your members flagged me down and twisted my arm until I said I would come here and join. Persistent bugger he was.
I’m in Central NC. We have a little hobby farm here on 30-something acres. Cows, goats, horses, chicken, ducks, bunch of dogs and a few cats for good measure.
I have a 51(?) Cub I use for lawn mowing but it’s about to get upgraded to full garden duty it looks like. Probably gonna do a 12v conversion on it as well.
Well, nice to “meet” all of you!

Welcome to the Forum!
Take some time and read through a few threads to acquaint yourself with the Forum:
Don't know if you have all the manuals to your Cub, but after your 2nd post on the Forum, you'll have access to the all the PDF Manuals. They are located via "Quick Links" in the upper left corner of your screen. Hit that and a pull-down appears where you'll find "PDF Manuals". Through that link, you'll be able to download an Owner's Manual (very strongly recommended) and any service manuals that interest you. You'll be able to familiarize yourself with your new-to-you Cub more quickly. Implement Manuals are also available.
We’d encourage you to take the Safety Test located in the Safety Forum: http://farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=68084
When it comes time to work on your Cub, there are a lot of good threads dealing with repair and maintenance in the How To Forum. Located here: http://farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=11
Take some pictures of your Cub and post them, we’d like to see it. Remember, when you have a specific question, start a new thread in the appropriate sub-forum and use the Preview button before hitting Submit--it'll show you exactly what your post will look like.
Glad you joined us.

Think I got the safety test beat! Appreciate the concern for life and limb, I am a very safety conscious person. I work in heavy industry and have seen too many accidents happen.
Appreciate everyone’s warm wishes. I’ll be sure to review some of the informative stuff you all have here.
I’ll try to snap a few pics later today!

I’m the interest of full disclosure, I do grading and skidsteer work as a side business. It’s getting ready to be full time, just waiting on my new dump truck to show up. Yes, I’ve been around equipment a lot.

I am sure I will wind up at your place one way or another.
Here is my little Cub. It needs a clean up but she runs great! Need to get my shop built so I can give it some much needed attention.
And here is a little bigger toy of mine! THIS is how you grade a driveway.
