New Guy

Postby oscar4pbr » Sun May 12, 2019 8:04 pm

Joined recently and have thoroughly enjoyed the vast knowledge available on this site. Old car mechanic here, who rode a Farmall Cub in younger years on the farm. Hope my recent purchase of 1966 International Cub proves to be a worthwhile adventure. Thanks to all who contribute and help the newbies.

WELCOME! You are real close to the DSCF (Deep South Cubfest) in Sneads, FL, every year in February. You should try to attend! It's a chance to learn about these tractors, and share problems and solutions. Plus the food is great!

Just in case you are able, there is a cubfest in Harrison, Ohio, (near Cincinnati) called the Barnyard Bash, at the end of the month. Come join the fun!

When you get a chance, read through the HOW TO section...full of good ideas for common cub problems!

Again, welcome! :hattip:

Welcome!

Take some time and read through a few threads to acquaint yourself with the Forum:

After your 2nd post on the Forum, you'll have access to the all the free PDF Manuals. They are located via "Quick Links" in the upper left corner of your screen. Hit that and a pull-down appears where you'll find "PDF Manuals". Through that link, you'll be able to download an Owner's Manual (very strongly recommended) and any service manuals that interest you. You'll be able to familiarize yourself with your new-to-you Cub more quickly. Implement Manuals are also available.

Might also enjoy reading through this thread: What to do with a Cub you just brought home

Take some pictures of your tractor and post them. We’d like to see it.

Glad you joined us.
