Hello,
I would like to introduce myself as a new member to the Farmall Cub forum. I have been using the "family" 59 cub in my truck garden for the last 6 years. After buying new rear tires, it was decided that a rebuild was necessary (#2 Cyl @ 35 lbs dry) and I have started referencing this forum for multiple questions.
I plan on continuing to use the cub as a workhorse in the garden, but will also be giving it a new coat of paint. Main use will be the cultivators and pulling a rack wagon. At some point I would like to have a small disk.
The garden is 3 acres mol, with the majority of the planting in watermelons. My main problem is starting this project about 3 months too late, as I could use the tractor NOW. When the cub is completed, I have a 42 H that will become the next project.
Best Regards,
Steve Genseal

Steve, Welcome to the forum. You are not really too far away. You might consider the CubFest coming up in a few weeks. www.barnyardbash.com
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Welcome!
Take some time and read through a few threads to acquaint yourself with the Forum:
Now that you have 2 posts, you can access all the free PDF downloads in the Manuals section. They are located via "Quick Links" in the upper left corner of your screen. Hit that and a pull-down appears where you'll find "PDF Manuals". Through that link, you'll be able to download an Owner's Manual (very helpful) and any service manuals that interest you. Implement Manuals are also available.
The How To Forum has a wealth of info on rebuilding and servicing your Cub.
Agree with Bill. Try to attend the Bash. It's a great time!

Re: New Member from mid-Illinois
Thanks to all for the welcoming !! I really appreciate the attached links and the invite to the cub fest. If it wasn't for the fact that I'm so far behind this year (no seeds or plants in the ground, no running cub, and no boat in the water), I would be there. I will post some cub rebuild progress pics when my iphone and surface quit fighting between themselves and I will have more questions in the near future. Again, thanks for the welcoming.
