I'm a native Floridian (Sarasota), but now live in North Carolina...welcome! You are fairly close to a really fun Cubfest...DSCF (Deep South CubFest) which takes place in Sneads, FL, in Feb. A chance to meet a bunch of forum members, and work on each others tractors or components...a perfect opportunity to learn pretty much anything about these tractors. Great food and friendship!

Re: Newbie abord
Check the SN on the data plate near the lower end of the steering column and compare it with the info listed in the topic at the "Cub Info" tab at the top left of this page. If you have this number you can determine the year of manufacture. Another way to check is to determine the casting numbers and compare to see if most of them are the same year (represented by a letter). This will help you determine when the castings were made and if most of them are about the same, then it's probable that your tractor was made at that time. The engine SN located behind the carb will help but will most likely not be the same date since C60 engines were used for multiple applications. Lots of good info manuals at the Quick Links tab, top left corner of this page.

Welcome to the group. I highly agree with Dale about checking out the Florida CubFest in February.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

When you post a message or reply you will see a couple of tabs just below the message box. Click on the one that says attachments. then click on the link that says add files. Once you select all the files you plan to add you will see them listed. Just click on "Place in line" and you should be good to go.
