Hello

Postby cramsey » Thu Mar 15, 2018 10:26 pm

Finally brought home a 1952 Farmall Cub serial 146175 and made it part of the family. Hopefully it will soon be helping me with the gardening
for years to come. So far I am in the process of getting the clutch pedal unstuck and changing fluids. The torque tube was full of insulation and mouse droppings and this allowed the clutch pedal pivot to rust up pretty good. Spraying with PB Blaster and getting motion.
Drained the mocha coffee from the transmission and will rinse with kerosene next.Having fun and appreciate how well this machine was built.
Reading the posts in this forum has really helped me. Thank You

Welcome. This is a good thread on what to do/check on a Cub you just brought home if you haven't seen it already: http://farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=91765

Post some pictures when you get a chance. We love pictures!

Welcome to the forum! Congrats on your Cub.

Take some time and read through a few threads to acquaint you with the Forum:

After your 2nd post on the Forum, you'll have access to the all the PDF Manuals. They are located via "Quick Links" in the upper left corner of your screen. Hit that and a pull-down appears where you'll find "PDF Manuals". Through that link, you'll be able to download an Owner's Manual (very strongly recommended) and any service manuals that interest you. Implement Manuals are also available.

Might also enjoy reading through this thread: What to do with a Cub you just brought home

Glad you joined us.
