Hello all, from Nashville, TN

Postby dscud » Mon Jun 19, 2017 1:16 pm

It's great to be a part of the forum. I just rescued my grandfather's '54 Cub after sitting in the barn for quite some time so I have been "stalking" the forum for tips to get it going again. I'm happy to say that I changed all of the fluids, battery, and rebuilt the starter and it fired right up!

I figured it was time for me to say hi to everyone since I've been using the forum for about a year now.

I didn't think there would be many Cub guys around MidTN. Do you guys ever meet up or know of any Cub functions in the area?

Steve, Big Hoss and others travel to several of the CubFests. What is a CubFest, you ask:http://farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=51111. CubFest dates are right here: http://farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=94992 http://farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=98212 More information on what a CubFest is: http://farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=87593.

A CubFest is an activity well worth the trip.

Steve, if you feel up to a drive to the Cincinnati area, we are having a CubFest Friday afternoon and Saturday October 20 and 21.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

I'm actually from the Cincinnati area, Rising Sun, IN to be exact. I would come to that CubFest if I wasn't out of town during those dates. I would like to assist in splitting one of these since mine is going to need it soon. Transmission shaft is rounded off and the PTO won't stay engaged.

Mark your calendar for the Barnyard Bash June 1st & 2nd, 2018. Many of the Tennessee boys show up for that one. http://www.barnyardbash.com
