Hello from Missouri
I live in Gerald, MO born and raised. I've always enjoyed old tractors and my Great Uncle and Aunt owned an International tractor dealership in Owensville for many years and back when I was a kid had many IH toys to play with. My Grandpa had a C we use to mess around with. My Dad in 2001 won a 1948 cub for a dollar on a raffle ticket. It timed out perfect because he retired and could enjoy it all the time, taking it to shows and just riding around town and the country on it. You would see him going through the drive thru at the quick shop on it. His health has been going down hill and the tractor sat for a few years, he has now handed it over to me to take care of. new plugs, a lil magneto work, fluid change (which by the looks of it was long overdue) we got her up and running again and surprised him at the local Threshers Show by having her up there sitting in the line. He almost got teary eyed on me as I did myself. My almost 16 year old daughter has an interest in old tractors at this time also , which makes me pretty happy. I hope to sway my grandkids from my son to have an interest in RED TRACTORS as well. a few rides and I think I'll have them hooked ;-) Enjoy Life My Friends, we only get to do this once.

Re: Hello from Missouri
Welcome to the Forum. What a great story. I'd love to be able to locate my dad's Cub, but I'm afraid it's long gone. If you need any help with anything, be sure and ask.

Welcome to the forum from the Emerald Isle. What a great history on your cub. Obviously your Dad was delighted to see it up & running again And it looks like you might have to buy a few more for your descendants

Re: Hello from Missouri
Welcome and I hope to see you at Cubarama. This is another good way to get the kids involved in your interest in Red Tractors.

Re: Hello from Missouri
Welcome from another Show Me Cubber! Looks like you're situated between John and Eugene (somewhat). Anyway, you're certainly close enough to Fredericktown to attend the Cub-A-Rama and the Mid-Mo Cubfest in California, MO, next Spring.
Again, welcome to the forum and we appreciated your introduction story!
