I was with the 4th In Div in 1968 Viet Nam TeT Offensive Pleiku,kontum,Dak To.

Johnny & Don, Thank you both for your service and welcome home.

Hard to believe I was a little over a week old when the Tet Offensive began. I recognized the 4th Infantry Division patch on your hat righ off the bat! My Dad was also in the 4th, basic training at Fort Gordon, Ga and stationed at Fort Lewis Washington. My Dad enlisted in 1962 and was already out by the spring of '66 before the 4th went over...

I was with the 23rd ID for part of my tour and the 1st Avn Bde for the rest. 1971-1972.

A little late (from the date of post) but I was in the "Bastard Brigade" of the 25th inThe Highlands (Pleiku,Dakto, Kontum) and we became part of the 4th, when the 4th and 25th exchanged 3rd brigades...Welcome Home....Dave
