Rest in Peace, George Willer
I received news from Marilyn, about a half hour ago, that George passed away about 4:00 this afternoon. He fought a very good fight, but this last bout was more than he could overcome. He was on life support the past few days, which they discontinued this morning.
Funeral arrangements are still pending and we should find that out in the next couple days. We'll make sure it's posted here.
George was a very special friend to Regina and me, we had a lot of great times together. He will be sorely missed. Our prayer go out to Marilyn, the boys and to the many friends who will miss him just as we will.

Rest in Peace (+) my friend. Sorry we never did get to spend time sharing a beverage or two. You were the driving force behind the 1st out of Ohio CubFest and all the succeeding ones. As long as a CubFest occurs I do believe that you will be with us in spirit. Marilyn, Em and I send our condolences to you and the family.

Re: Rest in Peace, George Willer
I only met George one time and that was at his last WinterFest in Jaqnuary 2008. After that he and I exchanged many PM's and I felt as though I had known him forever. He was an inspiration to all Cub owners. He was forever willing to share his knowledge with anyone who asked for it. When I held the first Barnyard Bash he said he was planning to be here but his health changed that soon after. He simply said that I should open the doors and the folks will come. George, being George, was right.
With the Barnyard Bash upon us this weekend. We will keep George, Marilyn and family in our thoughts and prayers.
Rest in peace my friend.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

This is so sad to hear. George was certainly the essence of what this board and all the Cubfests are about. I am honored to have known you, George. Rest now in peace.
