This is indeed heart breaking news and my sympathies go out to his wife Noelle, his family, and friends. I was shocked when I received the email reporting his untimely death and the tragic way it occurred. My heart and prayers go out to them.

Please, EVERYONE, be careful when enjoying these great old tractors. This underscores the need to always be vigilant in safe operations of older equipment. It requires each of us to be the safety devices that protect us and never fall into that complacency trap of feeling like we are always in control of the equipment.

I'm feeling the loss of a good friend,
Dennis

Thanks BD. pat was a great member of the forum. I enjoyed his posts so much that one time when he had trouble locating a throwout bearing for a Cub, I sent him a package as a gift marked Happy Birthday so he wouldn't get hit with customs charges. After wards he made me promise to visit if I ever went to France.
I really liked the way he talked about his wife Noel as well. If I remember correctly he fixed up a house for his daughter too. God Bless him and his family

That is a tragedy for sure, made worse by it being a fellow Cubber. He was truly a witty and interesting person and will be sorely missed.

I sure hate too hear about this, I exchanged Christmas cards with them for a long time as well as a letter now and then, I especially remember the stories he told about the Church picnic when they all drove tractors there and had some mishaps. And also he sent us Christmas in Paris one time just a great man will be really missed by all of us who knew him.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Noell and his family. RIP
Jim Turner
