Hi Yogie,

One never knows what the future will bring. Like Raymond, I would love to have both the LA and a Cub Loboy. A Pony would be nice as well. For the moment, however, we are a one tractor family.

I have an LA ,it came with cultivators and a plow, I hope to paint it this coming year, they are a fun little trctor, much harder to get on and off of than a Cub. Your tractor is very nice looking.

Very unique looking tractor. I always wondered how much power those had. It seems to pull a plow pretty easy. Cool tractor.

Hope BillyRay or Roy doesn't see this, but I like all the "small" ones of all makes. I would love to have a LA, Pony and G as well. Great looking tractor you got there!

Hey Raymond,
I'm willing to store it for you if you get it before I do.

Josh, I am no JD guy or expert for that matter. From what I have read and understand, the LA has a fairly large bore and stroke with a displacement of 77ci. I think in its day, it was a very capable and reliable machine. For a small tractor it it heavy at 2200LBS and has a lot of pulling capacity.

I was at an antique tractor show this past August & watched some garden tractors puil in the afternoon. Along with the garden tractors were a couple of Cubs & one LA. The LA had no problem keeping up with the Cubs. Both Cubs & the LA had strong full pulls. I didn't stick around to see who won, but long enough to see that the LA was no slouch when it came to pulling.

Nice tractor, by the way!

I'm still kicking myself for having passed up a Lo-Boy project for short money earlier this year. I would be happy to own a LA someday though.
