My new pickup ( trailer ) UPDATED 7-1-13 - Completed Photos

Since getting rid of my Dad's Nissan pickup (frame rusted away)
I was without a way to transport anything I couldn't cram in my car.
Especially Cub stuff - like plows, blades, etc.

So I bought a hitch from eTrailer.com which bolted right onto my Accord in 15 minutes,
and a wiring kit that plugged perfectly into a factory pigtail in my trunk.

The Accord is rated for 2,000# (which I'll never come close to)
and with the V-6 engine, I now have a "pickup" to carry all the lightweight stuff.

I found this 4-1/2' x 8' trailer on Craigslist and it doesn't weigh much empty.
It tilts and all the sides are removable, so it can be a flat bed as well.
Probably this summer I will take it all apart and paint it - red.

Looks like the hot set up to me. I want to get a trailer hitch for my wife's mine van. Sure would make it handy. 8)

Rob...It will fit size-wise, but not weight-wise...It is only rated for 2,000# gross.

A cub is within that weight range, but with no brakes on the trailer, and no controller in the car, it could make for an interesting ride.

Only if the trailer weighs less than 600 pounds and the Cub is bare bones.

The only Cub that will ever go on this trailer (unless in pieces/parts) will be the "Snowbear" manufacturer sticker...which I believe used to make them in Rudi's country. :D

Snowbear -- plow, sled, caboose, rtmover .....

Nice little trailer Dave. Honda's really are nicely setup to take advantage of a lot of aftermarket stuff. I love my Honda :D
