Re: A few of my cub cadetsThanks for sharing your Cubs with us. Great picture! I like your innovative rear weight method for the middle Cadet w/ blade!

Re: A few of my cub cadetsThank you for all the positive feedback. I like using the rockshaft on the middle cub to hold my rear weights. It works good. I have 75 lbs. of weight on the rear. That helps my 149 get traction when pushing snow. My good friend ihquietline has same setup as mine on his 1811. We plow peoples driveways in winter with our tractors and till fields/gardens in spring and fall. I will try to get more pics of my tractors later today. Thanks again and this is a great site.

Re: A few of my cub cadetsHere is my cub cadet 1200 I traded my Bolens 1054 for. This tractor only has 358 hours on the original motor. The guy I traded with told me his dad bought it new in 1979 & that he used it to mow with for a few years until it started running rough. Instead of trouble shooting the problem hisdad parked it in barn for 10 years. After his father passed away he said he took it and put it in his shed for another 10 years and never tried to use it cause he had a zero turn mower. I took a chance and traded him and all that engine needed was carb rebuilt and the reason it started running rough back in the day was cause the welch plug fell out causing carb to suck air. I put new welch plug in and a tune up and it purrs now. I put ag tires on rear and cleaned it up.

Re: A few of my cub cadetsDirt Cowboy, you & quietline need to, for sure, bring your Cadets, with plows, to the C.I. Cubfest in Tipton. There's always a bunch of Cadet Crazies there that turn some serious soil. For all I know, you may be one of them, but if not, you're going to have a blast.
Re: A few of my cub cadetsThanks for the invite Gary, ihquietline and myself will definitely try to make it to cubfest in Tipton. We have never been to any plow days but would definitely like to participate. I put a pic of my field cultivator on different section of this forum. I use the field cultivator pretty regularly in spring when I am getting ready to plant sweet corn in my dads field. To me theres nothing like the smell of freshly plowed dirt, lol!

Re: A few of my cub cadetsI thought I would give an updated picture of my current tractors. I sold my cub cadet 129 yesterday and traded my cub cadet 1200 the week before for a 1977 John Deere 300. The 300 works and operates good. It needs a seat and muffler. It came with 48 inch deck (not pictured). My current lineup is Cub Cadets 149, 782 & 982(not pictured): John Deere 300
