Today's Finds

Responded to an Ad for a cub 1 row corn planter, no pics available Drove 2 hours 1 way to pick it up. I thought I was getting a runner style 172 or 174 belly mount as the seller described it to me and I was pleasantly surprised when I found it was the fast hitch version. I've never had or seen one of these in person so I believe I'll keep it. Paint is original and you can see the decals by the press wheel. Got the other stuff in with the deal also. Had a great day in some country I'd never seen before.

That is a very nice planter. Looks like no wear at all on the sword and this is the first time I have seen a 184 with a fertilizer hopper mounted. I don't have a manual that shows the parts breakdown for that option. For a while IH decided that everything needed to be in separate catalogs and in this case the fertilizer parts are in FU-1. At least they did not come out with a second edition ( I hope)
