Farmall Cub 1955
Couldn't resist purchasing this yesterday. Needs a little TLC, but seems to be pretty much all there, including a blade. SN 189121

Re: Farmall Cub 1955
Welcome! Looks like a nice one. Maybe a little hood damage. Has the fixed front axle. The manual appears to be from the mid 60's.

Re: Farmall Cub 1955
The seller was also listing a '67 version, so I'm guessing now that the manual belongs to that one.
It was everything I could do to keep from buying them both.

Re: Farmall Cub 1955
That manual should suit you fine. There wasn't many changes to the Cub from 1947-1979. Mid 60's they went to 12 volt and changed the sheet metal a little.
A 1955 would have had a red grille originally and switched to white in 56 but it does not matter.

Re: Farmall Cub 1955
That’s a nice looking tractor. The manual appears to be for a ‘64, so it probably covers 6 volt and 12 volt Cubs I’d expect.

Re: Farmall Cub 1955
Welcome to the forum, nice looking "55"! It's odd that the original purchaser sprung for the deluxe seat but not the adjustable front axle.

Re: Farmall Cub 1955
I'm not sure the deluxe seat was available in '55. It was probably added later on.
