I was searching for info on replacement bearings for my Mott D9 Flail Mower, and found this HOW TO. I'm not sure just how hard the bearing removal is, but this may be very helpful...thanks Spaceghost!! (But where's PART 2 ??!!)

My question is four part:
1. Anyone have a reasonably priced source for these roller bearings?
2. Is there any hazard or trick to installing the new bearings?
3. Anyone going to DSCF who has experience in replacing these who might be able to help, if I bring the mower with me?
4. Mr. E, does the projects list have room for this one?

Here are the numbers I received from flail master- main shaft bearing 102792 $68.36 roller shaft bearings 102002 $48.24 each. I am going to order them soon. The lady at flail master was extremely knowledgeable about this unit. There number is 800-251-4020. These were for my fast hitch model. Your roller shaft bearings look the same.

you have to call about the D9 Mott. they have the parts but the parts are not listed online.

When you only have 9 horsepower you need to know the names of all of the ponies!

Just picked up Mott belly and a fast hitch flail mower. They are both butchered pretty bad, but the belly mower has all good bearings. I took them out and put them in my fast hitch Mott. All I need now is a belt and I'm ready to mow!
