Hydraulic snow plow angle
A friend bought a cub hydraulic angle kit, years ago, for his snow blade. He's deciding to install it now, but has no directions. Does anyone have either instructions or clear photographs, that would help him? (Came fromRick Prentice.)
Thanks,
Ed

Re: Hydraulic snow plow angle
Hi Ed. I actually only made and sold 1 complete kit to Chuck Melburg with the deluxe steel lines and set up for either front or mid mounting the blade. I sold Kit a partial kit that was basic parts because of a loader project going on at the same time, on the same cub. Too many unknowns kinda stopped any progress on that snow kit. Was this kit you mentioned from either Chuck or Kit? If someone else claims to have a kit from me, you'll have to jog my memory(anythings possible now days,I may have but can't remember)

If someone wanted to make one of those kits I’d be interested in one.

Re: Hydraulic snow plow angle
Being able to angle your blade from the seat is VERY nice. Even if you guys don't get a kit it isn't that hard to do at all.

Re: Hydraulic snow plow angle
I'm looking at doing that myself with my cobbled together blade. In my case, though I'm looking at seeing if I can do it mechanically with a linkage rod and using the old break plow depth adjustment lever. I've got the lever and don't have the plow that goes with it, so it seems like blade angle adjustment would be a good use for it.

Re: Hydraulic snow plow angle
I do want power angle, although I came up with a way to plow where I don't have to change the angle. I'm way too lazy to get off and on the tractor that much and way too cheap to put power angle on.
Maybe one of these days...
