Working with Cub hdy pump 352035R93 (SN 0510040410) from a 50 Cub and find that there is no notch in the cover bearings for the bearing seal pin. (I've compared these to bearnings in a 70 IH pump and the difference is obvious.) What may have been the "remains" of a seal pin was pressed flat onto the bearing spring at a contact point with both bearings.
Any ideas as to how a seal pin -if any - is to be installed in this pump?
Thanks.
Gene

Re: Hdy Pump Bearings
here is a very long post that covers the rebuilding and updating the hydrolic pump. http://www.farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewto ... hilit=seal
There were changes over time . I do not recall any stakes or pins on the bearings and the modern seal use a lock tight like material to hold the seals in place

Re: Hdy Pump Bearings
I do not believe that the earlier pumps had the pin seal.
