Lo-Boy fast hitch fit FCub?

Postby radioguy41 » Thu Nov 23, 2017 6:49 am

Does a fast hitch off of a Lo-Boy fit on a standard FCub? I want to offer one for sale but wouldn't want to sell it to someone who found out it doesn't fit. Is it acceptable to ask for advice on a fair asking price? It is a complete unit in decent condition with the exception of the two knobs, they are both cracked.

Thanks,
Larry

Larry, the parts list shows two different part numbers for the Fast Hitch. It is possible to probably "make" it work with some modifications but I'll defer to someone else to give the details. I do have a regular std Cub FH on a '76 and a loboy FH on my 57 LoBoy. I paid approx $300 for it and some of the parts were seized with rust. I paid approx $450 for the other one in ready to use condition.

Larry, the short answer to your question is that it will bolt up but not be very functional because of the height and length differences. The two were designed differently for a reason. Take a look at the photos in this link from TM Tractor Parts, and I think you'll see what I mean.

Yeah, I can see some physical differences and since there are different parts numbers it looks like it's Lo-Boy only. Thanks guys.

Agreed. Only one or two parts that will interchange. I’m thinking one
