hooking up my cub 22 for the first time

Postby huntingpal » Sun Oct 09, 2005 7:57 pm

I have the mower mounted on the tractor and have one question. How do I determine were to hook up the chain as far as length? I have looked at the pictures on the TM site and can't figure out how long or short to atach it. Thanks for any help you can give.

It isn't a critical point. The chain should have 14 links. Try using about a dozen. As long as it lets the mower to the ground and lifts it above the cut grass, that is all that really matters. I like to keep it as short as possible as long as it stays slack while mowing.
