Help identifying this mower and push blade

Postby TiberiusCub » Thu Oct 12, 2017 8:59 am

All,
Would you mind helping me figure out what mower and push blade I have? I will need to get a belt for the mower.

Thanks,
TC

Mower may be a Pennington. Blade is a 54A Leveling and Grader blade.

Unless you have more parts, not shown in the photos, your 54A blade is not complete.

First 2 picts look like two different mowers. Pennington manuals are included in the Manuals link above. As far as the belt size, you can use a rope to determine the approximate length. If you get an aftermarket belt like GATES, it will be a B belt which is 5/8 inch width.

Stan,
They are two different mowers. One is mounted on the 55, one is on the ground for the 52. Good Idea on the rope. Thank for the width.

Don,
What else should be there? Not a surprise something is missing.

Urbish,
Thanks, I will try to look up the pennington.

Thanks Urbish. I think with what is on the 55, I should have most of the parts. See pdf below.

Is that the bar linkage that goes between the 'boomerang' and the lift lever sitting on the mower deck? If so, you should be all set.

Hi,
Below is the Cub 54 blade owner's manual, it's the only blade owner's manual in the manuals where I looked. It has the spring on the front, the first blades had no spring, I guess.
There are instructions for putting the blade on the Cub on page 5.
You don't use the manual lift that it shows if you have Touch Control. :)

Glen,
Thanks! I found that yesterday as well. It is going to come in real handy when I get the tractor up and running!
