DIY Power Lift Unit

Postby ricky racer » Wed Sep 27, 2017 7:26 pm

I was at a tractor show last weekend and saw this DIY unit on a nice Cub there. It was very nicely done so I thought I'd share it here to maybe give someone an idea for their own use. The bracket was so well done that at first I thought it was a factory made unit. Maybe not so much the switch mounting but the mounting bracket for the power unit which I'm sure is off of a truck snow plow.

When you only have 9 horsepower you need to know the names of all of the ponies!

You better have a good battery and an even better charging system to carry that plow control unit if you use it very long.
