Identifying Cub Parts

Postby T-Mo » Tue Aug 22, 2017 7:01 am

Here is a bunch of parts, and I need help identifying them. One, on the lower right looks to be the rear lift, but it looks to have some "extra" parts attached to it. Also, there looks to be the rear lift rod also (the one with the most red on the one end).

The piece with the 2 springs attached to it goes on a plow hitch. The piece with the 3 holes in a triangular shape with the rear rock shaft was originally a hand lift unit but everything has been taken off to be used with hydraulics. The handles, one is for a plow (with bent end on top) but has been modified on the business end. That is a lift rod with red paint on it.

Thanks. All what I was thinking, but wanted to be sure and get another opinion.

I can get the whole lot for $20. Maybe I can use the rear rock shaft on my touch control Cub?

To add a little to it, the one with lift with the round handle, the hnadle is the type used on a hand lift for no hydraulics, but the bottom part appears to be the depth control for a molboard plow, though missing the dog bone. I never saw a depth control lever with the round handle and push button on it.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

I probably go get these if they're still available when I can find the time to make the trip to Wentzville. I'm hoping the rear rockshaft will still work on my '47 with the hydraulics.

At least one bearing is missing from the rockshaft and the lift rod has seen its better days. Not trying to dissuade you, just pointing it out

If it will help you, I'd give twenty dollars for the piece with the 2 springs attached to it goes on a plow hitch  , then the lot would be free for you unless you need that part , just an idea :D

I could do that if I can get up there in time.
