I asked about a seat cushion from TSC weeks ago, after I got my '47 Cub. Anyways, that one is no longer available, so I was in Rural King Saturday and came home with this one for $20.

Fits okay on my tractor, though I probably could snuggle up the rope some more.

Re: Seat Cushions
I have a couple of these cushions, too. For the price, they're hard to beat. An good improvement that I have done is to replace the rope with a piece of shock cord.
(And very few folks have noticed that I usually slip another layer of 1 inch foam rubber under mine for added comfort!)

Re: Seat Cushions
This is more expensive but I had a very bad pan not worth welding and found a K&M manufacturing in Renville MN. They have an upholstered pan with brass ring drain hole part number 7567 red and white for about ~150.00. They also have gray and black. I am very happy with it. I bought it through a reseller http://www.tractorpart.com/farmall_decal_seat.html
When you only have 9 horsepower you need to know the names of all of the ponies!

The rope it comes with does seem to be lacking a bit - it's more of a string than rope.

I think TSC has a upholstered seat pan, and it's also expensive. I don't know if Rural King does as I just needed the cushion only.

Re: Seat Cushions
I was lucky a year or so ago...AgriSupply had tbe red and white padded/upholstered seats with grommet for just under $30 each. I bought 4!! They were nice heavy duty steel, and probably the only shortcoming is that the vinyl might not be the strongest...might separate at the seem. So far, they are great.
