Cub and Farmall A front ends

Postby rjd » Wed Jul 19, 2017 8:21 pm

Just wanted to know which parts if any interchange between the cub and A.
Mainly interested in the spindles and steering arms because that's what I need.
Cubs are alot harder to get then A's in Australia so I'd like to hear what else is common to the two tractors.
Thanks Richard.

To my knowledge none of it is the same.
It is common sense to take a method and try it. If it fails, admit it frankly and try another. But above all, try something.

Only thing I know of that will interchange is the steering wheel.

I have both tractors and this is it.
I'll add that though the both have 24 inch rims the rear rim off an A will not fit a Cubs center.
I've tried.
You could possibly swap the rear tires themselves. 8.3 certainly or maybe 9.5's.
