Postby Don McCombs » Wed Jul 12, 2017 11:03 am

Anyone have experience re-attaching the small pins to the back of the stainless steel Farmall Cub and/or International Cub side hood emblems? Thanks.

I think someone should figure out how, and this could be a very good, and probably quick, repair job for cubfests! I will be first to offer an emblem for repair!! :D

I have a friend who restored an IH something or another and he tig welded one on and polished the outside back where you can't tell it. If you have any good tig welders around they may can help. I'm not that good. I have a friend who works in another machine shop and they have certified welders there and I sent an A/C line off my truck with him one day, really thin aluminum and they were able to weld it tight with no leakage. Had I tried it the hole would have been bigger and I would have had 2 A/C lines that needed welded back together.
Every home is a school, what are you teaching?

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
