IH/Danco 42" Mower- Cub to Lo-Boy?

Postby jes009 » Wed Jul 05, 2017 7:22 am

Hi Everyone!

This weekend I attempted to move a IH/Danco 42" belly mower from a 1949 Cub to a 1964 International Lo-Boy...but, the mounting bracket mounting holes don't line up correctly with the mounting holes on the Lo-Boy. Did the Lo-boy have a different mounting bracket than a regular cub? Or maybe there is an adapter that I need.

Thanks for any help!
Jason

Thank you. The search begins now for the correct mounting brackets.

Here's another one from a Pennington mower, works with a LoBoy with FH, no interference:

Thanks everyone! Are these brackets difficult to find? Any ideas of places to purchase or find would be very helpful...or if you all have any for sale.

My Lo-Boy has a 3 point hitch on it currently, It looks like this wouldn't interfere with the mower brackets- anyone know for sure though?

A metal fabricator can make the brackets or you can place a WTB add on THE VINE, Classified. A picture of your hitch might help, I'm not sure how you want to attach the mower. The adapter brackets (above diagram) bolt to the finals and the mower is attached to them. I my case, I made some brackets for attaching the mower to the finals and used the mule drive that attaches to the rear of the transmission instead of the bar type that attaches to the finals/drawbar.
