I think the cruise in plan is terrific!

My wife and I did some of those with my customized hot-rod F-100 Pickup for a few years.

It's great fun, a great way to attract more attention wherever you go or stop, and the absolute best part is.......finding the BEST places to stop for ice cream !!!!

I'd rather hear Willy's song over convoy anyday though!

I agree I had a flat on the way to Cubarama as did Bud.
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

That CONVOY idea is a winner!
The last vehicle in line is the wrecker!:lol: It makes sense when you think about it, back there you could pick up the loose pieces, up to and including the occasional tank or landing craft, depending on the mission.
Cubs should be a piece of cake [to go with Marion's ice cream]

Yep, changing flats in the rain is no fun. :( :x Good thing Dad was there with us. 8) After we couldn't get the spare from under the truck, we took the flat tire to Wal-Mart and had it replaced. :D

You see, if'n ya has a really good wrecker operator, he can use the wrecker boom to hold itself up whilst he changes the tire.
Also spare parts - except those you needed at any given time. :?
