cluch peddle adjustment

My cub clutch peddle adjustment is inside tractor plate . there isn't any serial number on tractor ,can anyone tell me when was the last year for clutch
peddle adjustment was on inside so I can have an idea what year my little red cub is ? thanks

The engine serial number may be able to give you a close approximation, if it is original to the tractor.

You can also check the casting date codes on various parts, like the finals and engine and clutch housing, etc. They will be something like 7 - 22 - A, where the two numbers would be July 22, and the A = 1955. Check out the links above for the codes. If most of the letters match, that would be the year your Cub was made. Some components may have been swapped out over the years, but you should have a few the same.

Parts manual shows the early clutch from SN 501 to SN 32228. That covers 1947 and part of 1948.
