Getting ready for my first bash

Postby iosco cub » Wed Apr 26, 2017 5:58 pm

Well the plan is to bring the trans from my 55 to get some expert help with bearings and seals. Removed the fast hitch depth lever and fenders. Having some trouble with the seat post seems to be rusted good. Got the wedges made for the front axle just need to bring home the cherry picker and blocking should have the trans off this weekend. Seals and bearings and gaskets are on order. Right brake seems like it's soaked with oil from a leaking seal may bring them along as well. I am aware that there projects lined up already up if we can't get to this one no big deal, maybe just some advice to take with me I'll be happy. Looking forward to meeting everyone. Greg

If the lining is still good on the brakes, you can burn off the oil and reinstall them. PM sent

Greg, bring it on! I'm sure we will get you in and on your way. Looking forward to seeing you.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

We'll put your brake band in the campfire for a little while!
