Is there an easy way to remove the fan pulley assembly?

Your pictures look like you already have the blades off. Hold the nut that's between the forked piece and turn the fan shaft with a thin open end wrench. The forked piece is cast and made on to the engine front cover so you don't want to break it. That would require replacing the front cover.

You may have to grind a cheap wrench thinner to make it fit if you don't already have a thin one.

Just so I completely understand. Hold the nut in the fork piece (so the fork doesn't snap off) and turn the pulley by the nut that is in front of the pulley?

The wrench size is 13/16". As they said, go buy an extra one and grind it thinner.

To clarify, you want to turn the SHAFT (it has flats for the wrench) in FRONT of the forked mounting point. I usually also put a wrench on that rear nut, but ONLY to hold it in place and not let it turn and possible break the casting (engine front cover) holding it.

Once the fan drops down, you can remove the belts and slide the fan assembly up and out.

Note: my thumbs are too slow!!

Go to 2:25 in this video.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Can you get the 2 belts at NAPA? Might as well replace both while open.

Should be available. I've purchased the belts at auto parts before. Take your old belts or part numbers.

Commented on the wrong thread...the video was great. I changed both my belts in about 10 minutes. Thanks, BY
