Hello everybody,
I have a 1955 Lo Boy that I've been reviving after years of sitting. It's running great. The problem is that I don't have any implements and would like a moldboard plow. There is a 193 available near me. Does anyone know if this will work on a Lo Boy? I don't have a fast hitch (I wish!), just a drawbar, but I fear it is not compatible with the original 193 that existed before the Lo Boys came around. Thoughts?
Thanks! Brian

No match. The only moldboard plow IH made that can be used on a Lo-Boy is the Fast-Hitch version.

Thanks for the reply, Jim. Blast. Is the drawbar just too low compared to the standard height cub's?

Can't reverse the drawbar as on a Farmall. Axle extension housing and platform too low.

Thanks again, Jim. That makes sense, and also precludes any simple modifications to make it work. Time to look for a fast hitch.

No simple mods.----several very complicated and no guarantee it would work mods!!!! BUT, they would take iron , a welder, oxy.- acty. torch, etc.! ---oh,--AND lots of time to do "trial-and-error" cutting, fitting, cussin', etc. !!! thanks; sonny
