rear main seal leaking
I am new on the forum and am working to fix some issues with a 1952 Farmall Cub I received from my father in law. I am getting ready to split my 1952 Farmall F-Cub to replace the rear main seal which is leaking pretty badly. I have read on line that the seals available today fit loosely in the retainers and that the retainers are notorious for being warped / not flat. I also saw that there is someone on this forum who will rework the retainers to flatten them and also machine the retainer to accept a larger seal which fits. Will someone provide me with the contact for that work so I can make arrangements to get that done? Thank you!

Send a PM to tst (Tim Talleur) and he will fix you up with a modified real seal retainer and seal.

You are probably much better off getting one from Tim. Much cheaper.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
