Working on my Final Drive

Postby B52 » Sun Mar 05, 2017 10:41 am

Good morning all,

While dismantling the right Final Drive of our 1947 Cub I was forced to grind and cut off the RH rear axle nut (1-1/8" thick)
http://www.tmtractor.com/tm-tractor/gfi/anut_001.htm

I can't seem to located one from any of the more popular HI suppliers.

Would anyone know of a supplier that carries this nut?

Thank for any help you can offer.

TM Tractor Parts shows having a used one for $12.00.
It is common sense to take a method and try it. If it fails, admit it frankly and try another. But above all, try something.
