touch control problem

Postby coppersmythe » Sun Feb 12, 2017 7:16 am

good morning all from the humid deep south . 75 degrees at 6:00 am , high in the 80's today and yesterday, 80% humidity . why are yooous yankees keeping all the cool weather up there ? my touch control works great ,strong , for about 15-20 minutes . then it just gets slower and slower till it will not even raise up anything attached . it presently has a cub-6 tool bar and row builders . should i suspect the t/c , or the pump first . or could it be either one equally ? thanks guys and dale , see y'all soon . coppersmythe..............................................( 64' cub with original t/c )

put a gauge on it and see what the pressure is cold and what it reads after it gets hot, if the pressure goes away its the pump

MY guess would be the limit stops on the bottom left of the TC unit or out of adjustment, and when it is all the way up or down the pump is still running against pressure and causing it to heat up.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
