Re: Replacing Ledger Plates on Sickle
455634R1 for regular
457608R1 for chrome plated
991015R91 for standard rivets
407039R91 for tubular rivets
From personal experience, it's a lot easier to change out the whole guard (MC4043Z for outside, MC2041Z for rest of bar) than it is to change ledger plates.
These numbers are still available and active and if anybody tells you otherwise, I'm a Case IH parts guy so I'd like to think I know what I'm talking about.

Replacement guards are also available from Tractor Supply and maybe others.

Re: Replacing Ledger Plates on Sickle
Thanks so much. I have a couple of setups (one for each tractor) The teeth are looking pretty shabby. I don't think they have ever been serviced other than an occasional sharpening. No toothing left on any of them. The plates are in pretty much in the same condition. Id rather replace the plates unless the whole guard is damaged or broken, I may change my mind once I dig into it but that's the plan for now.

Re: Replacing Ledger Plates on Sickle
Different question: I have seen and bought some of the mower teeth from TM, but does anyone know of or have a part number for the end tooth with the stepped back edge??

Re: Replacing Ledger Plates on Sickle
The original "triplet" section (viewtopic.php?f=1&t=83722) had 4 part numbers for smooth (SM) and underserrated (US) as well as standard duty (SD) and heavy duty (HD):
USHD 467456R11
USSD 467458R1
SMHD 467455R11
SMSD 467457R11
However, none of these are available. They now went to a "one and a half" section
Smooth ZA290658
Over serrated 86617760
USHD 467456R11
USSD 467458R1
SMHD 467455R11
SMSD 467457R11

Re: Replacing Ledger Plates on Sickle
Wow, That was quick. You are truly a marvel. I wonder if I can "re-tooth" my serrated one with a dremel and fine grinding disk? Has anyone ever tried to refurbish them?
