Sickle Mower Grass Board Dimensions
Howdy everyone. Got the '57 almost put back together, much to my dismay for taking so long and much to my wife's joy of getting it out of the garage. But to take a break from the tractor, I began fixing up the implement that is going to get used the most this spring/summer. The Cub-22 mower I got didn't have a grass board. It had the optional dual grass rod attachment (that I plan on keeping), but would like to have a grass board on there for basic weed cutting and pasture trimming. The dimensions used to be on Rudi's site, but they won't come up anymore. Wondering if somebody out there had the dimensions of that board. Thanks!

If you PM me your address, I'll send you a full size pattern. With the curves, it would be hard to give dimensions.

You may find the steel rods are a lot more durable. If you are trimming weeds, as in under fences, around trees etc. where you need to back up once in a while, you may find out you are better off with neither the rods or the board.
