Gettin Ready for Cub-A-rama

Postby Kodiak » Sat Sep 17, 2005 9:41 pm

I took the mower off Little Red today after mowing 4 acres. Checked all fluids, waxed the hood and fenders. Mounted the drawbar and in general started getting ready for Cubarama. Anyone else started yet? How bout it John? Got your tralier loaded yet?
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

Not sure aobut my status. i hope to be there Saturday, but may only have one cub, since 48 is torn down at present and circumstances may prevent me from fixing it in time.

The way it looks now I will not be able to make it to the Cubarama this year. My work load is more now than ever. :(
The past years I only was able to make it a few hours on Saturday, but it was one of my highlights of the year to meet all of you. You can’t believe the envy I have of you being able to attend events like the Cubarama.
Everybody take lots of pictures and post them for us unfortunate ones.
Meanwhile, the Cub I built four years ago for just taking to shows is still setting and waiting for its first outing. This is a couple of pictures I just took.

PS. Notice John’s hat he gave me at the first Cubarama. :{_}:

Elliot won't sales presentations at a resort be kind of tough with present fuel prices? Lots of luck on you new employment.
