Even though the prices may be somewhat higher on some things the people below help sponsor this website so it is good to support them when possible. The website has some costs associated with it and is a very valuable asset to us users. ...Frank

Although this is true, It's not my responsibility to keep various sponsors in business. It's their responsibility to remain competitive (with their wares whatever they may be) in todays marketplace. It is my responsibility however, to keep as much of my hard earned cash in my pocket as possible for my family and myself. I know this may seem a bit harsh, but a fact of life none the less. I'm a General contractor and I have to out bid other contractors everyday or I don't get the job and, I don't get them all.

I do appreciate the fact that the sponsors are dedicated to locating/ selling hard to find parts and equipment for our beloved cubs and expect to pay premium price for something otherwise unobtainable. But when I can save a nickel, consider it saved.

Just for clarification it is nice to keep these guys in business but my point was that they support this websight because the websight isn't free to operate. It is funded with donations from supporters. I just didn't want you to misunderstand my point. I don't want to offend anyone. Just want to be clear. ... Frank

Possibly a bearing separator and a press if you are trying to save it to reuse. If not some heat on the inner cone after you knock of the rollers may expand enough to loosen it. Good Luck! ...Frank

The Blue Ribbon Service Manual GSS-1411 says to insert a small chisel between the bearing and felt seal and tap lightly.
