New Cub owner

Postby 1951newowner » Fri Sep 30, 2016 5:54 pm

New to the forum. Just purchased a 1951 Cub, was wondering if it is normal for the PTO to stop once the clutch is pushed in? It doesn't seem like this should happen when trying to mow as the blades slow to a stop and leave uncut grass.

Completely normal. The Cub does not have a 'live' power take off, therefore, when you step on the clutch you disengage the PTO power source.
