1948 Farmall Cub

I have a cub and when I use the hydraulics they will raise up but drop back down immediately. Could this possibly be a bad seal or check valve?

Check to make sure the block reservoir is full. If it's not, check to see if the level on the dipstick is above full. That would indicate the pump shaft seal is leaking and needs to be replaced.
